This petition of concerned Australian citizens draws to the attention of the House the Coalition’s plans to enable a national plebiscite so that all Australians are allowed to put forward their views regarding the introduction of a carbon tax before the Government attempts to push it through Parliament.
We therefore ask the House to support the Coalition’s Bill which would allow Australians to directly voice their opinion on whether a carbon tax should be introduced.
