The Stronger Communities Program supports the Morrison Government’s commitment to deliver social benefits in communities across Australia.

Our Government is working to strengthen communities across Australia, and has committed an additional $150,000 in Round 5 of this program to support community projects that:

  • Bring our communities together
  • Strengthen social connections
  • Build community participation and
  • Create vibrant and viable communities into the future

The grant amount will be up to 50% of eligible project costs (grant percentage) between $2,500 – $20,000.

Once you have submitted your Expression of Interest form and if you are successful your MP will invite you to formally apply for the grant online.

Communities Environment Program

The Communities Environment Program supports the Morrison Government’s commitment to protect our local environment, our threatened species and our beautiful natural environment.

Through the Communities Environment Program, the Morrison Government is investing $22.65 million to deliver practical, community-led environmental projects in each of the 151 federal electorates. Each electorate is allocated up to $150,000 in 2019/20 for up to 20 projects, with grants ranging from $2,500-$20,000 per project. Grants will cover all eligible costs, up to 100% of the total project cost, but cash and/or in-kind contributions are encouraged.

The program guidelines are now available to access at www.business.gov.au/cep .These grant guidelines explain the application process, eligibility requirements and types of projects eligible for a grant.

Local Schools Funding

Expressions of Interests due- 30th September 2019

 

Through the Fund, the Morrison Government is providing up to $200,000 to each Federal electorate to benefit students and school communities through funding contributions for small scale projects and their associated costs. Schools can apply for funding for one project between $1,000 and $20,000. Where a school is composed of multiple campuses, the school or campus may submit an application for each campus to fund a project between $1,000 and $20,000.

Schools should identify their projects in consultation with their local school community. Prior to applying for funding for a project, schools are required to notify their approved authority.
