Renovations complete for Bayside United FC

Construction is now complete on the new female amenities and referee facilities at Bayside United Football Club ahead of their pre-season launch thanks to a $580,000 Morrison Government grant. ..

Federal Member for Bonner Ross Vasta MP said the Community Development Grant had created a more inclusive club by providing female players with their own change room and bathroom facilities.

“This brand new female facility is well designed to meet the immediate needs of Bayside United FC as their female membership continues to grow,” Mr Vasta said.

“This season is going to further establish the importance and commitment the club has for it’s female teams and I hope inspire other women and young girls to get involved.

“I am proud to have delivered funding for this project to encourage more female participation in sport and support a new wave of talented young athletes.”

Bayside United Football Club President Greg Pascall said the upgrade would promote more opportunities for the club and encourage more female participation.

“I just can’t believe the transformation; we’re very pleased with the modernised renovations,” Mr Pascall said.

“The upgraded change rooms means we can host more home games and hire out our venue.

“Thank you Ross for delivering on this vital project for our club, our female players now have a space of their own without getting ready elsewhere before hand.”
